Bancassurance Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Jakarta RayaResponsibilities :
- To meet agreed sales targets by managing/motivating a team of Personal Financial Advisors and developing and managing relationships with bank Branch Managers.
- Ensuring that all direct reports are performing to their respective targets and expectations.
- Spending time with all direct reports to ensure that they have the required training and guidance to perform as required.
- Supporting direct reports in complex or high-value sales.
- To be fully aware of the insurance market in Indonesia, including products and competitors, and being able to use this knowledge to develop the Panin Life bancassurance business and answer questions/objections from customers and others.
Requirements :
General requirements :
- A minimum of 4 years experience in selling to individual customers.
- At least 2 years experience of selling financial services to individual customers, with a preference for candidates with experience in selling in a banking environment.
- Has led a team of at least three staff in a sales role.
- Can demonstrate successful sales performance in previous role(s).
Personal characteristics and attributes :
- Smartly dressed, professional appearance, with a confident, enthusiastic and respectful manner.
- Being ‘sales orientated’, self motivated and keen to succeed.
- Being able to manage relationships.
- Having excellent and proven communication skills.
- Ideally, some proficiency in verbal and written English.
- Numerate
- Presents as a professional and knowledgeable individual with good listening skills and high levels of empathy with customers.
- Showing flexibility in approach and able to change and adapt to circumstances.
- Possessing a happy and positive manner.
- Motivated by achievement of work/personal goals, showing delight in goal achievement of him/herself and his/her team.
Ambitious – sets and achieves goals both in his/her working and personal life.
Location:
Covering 8 – 10 partner bank branches in a specified geographic area, with regular travel to supervise/manage staff at Panin Bank branches and occasional travel to bank customers at their home and place of work.
